SBC TransitHow SBC Transit Works
Sensitive Degree Points
SBC marks the degrees in your chart that have been repeatedly activated by major events — natal planets, house cusps, Arabic Parts, and sensitive midpoints. These become the trigger targets for transits.
Precision Timing Windows
When a transiting planet crosses a sensitive degree, the SBC identifies a narrow activation window — often 1–3 days — for the most precise event timing available in classical Vedic analysis.
Dasha Gating
SBC transit hits are most significant within an active Dasha that already promises the relevant matter. AstroShri gates all SBC triggers against the current Dasha-Antardasha to filter noise.
Event Pattern Recognition
Past life events can be mapped back to SBC transit activations — revealing which sensitive degrees in your chart correlate with which categories of events, refining future predictions.
Common Questions
What is the difference between SBC transit and regular transit?
Regular transit tracks a planet's movement through the 12 signs and 12 houses. SBC transit tracks movement through specific degree points — often to within a single degree — that have been pre-identified as sensitive in your chart. SBC gives day-level precision where house-level transit gives month-level precision.
How are sensitive degrees identified?
Sensitive degrees are the natal positions of the 9 planets, the house cusps (especially 1st, 4th, 7th, 10th), the Pars Fortuna (Arabic Part of Fortune), the Pars Spiritus, and the midpoint of Rahu-Ketu. Additional sensitive points emerge from the Navamsha and from the Chandra Lagna chart's house cusps.
Is SBC transit a classical Vedic technique?
SBC transit is a hybrid technique that combines Vedic sensitive point theory (Arabic Parts, nakshatra degrees, lagna cusps) with the precision timing approach of the KP system. It is not a standalone classical system but an applied precision layer over classical Vedic chart sensitive points.
