By accessing or using AstroShri ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before use.

1. Nature of the Service

AstroShri is an algorithmic Vedic astrology computation engine. All results — including birth charts, Dasha periods, Yoga detections, and Panchanga — are generated by applying classical Jyotish rules to your supplied birth data. The Service does not provide personalised human consultation, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice.

Astrology describes tendencies and timing patterns; it does not guarantee outcomes. You acknowledge that any action taken on the basis of astrological output is your sole responsibility.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and purchase a subscription. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorised access.
• You must provide accurate birth data. Inaccurate data produces inaccurate charts — AstroShri is not responsible for errors arising from incorrect input.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• Paid plans (Sarathi, Acharya, Pulse) unlock additional features as described on the Upgrade page.
• Subscriptions are billed in advance for the chosen period (monthly or annual).
• Payments are processed by Razorpay, PhonePe, Cashfree, or Stripe. AstroShri does not store card or bank details.
• Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR). International users may be charged in their local currency by their bank.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. Refunds

Please see our Refund Policy for full details. In summary: refunds are available within 7 days of a first-time purchase if no premium features were used. Annual plan refunds are pro-rated for the unused months.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute AstroShri computation output for commercial purposes without written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the calculation engine or access internal APIs not intended for public use.
• Use the Service to harass, deceive, or harm others.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free-tier limits.

7. Intellectual Property

All computation logic, UI, content, and branding are the intellectual property of AstroShri. The underlying classical sutras (BPHS) are in the public domain. Your personal chart data belongs to you — you may export it at any time.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." AstroShri makes no warranty that results are error-free or suitable for any specific purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AstroShri's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Upon closure, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
